Welcome Celebration 4p - 9p
We will kick-off the festivities with an evening of fun games, food and music while sharing speeches.
Anyone who would like to speak is welcome to sign up for a toast or speech to make the evening even more special.
For those who love beautiful traditions, mehndi will be available, adding an artistic touch to the evening. Guests can get intricate henna designs applied, embracing a cherished ritual that symbolizes joy and celebration.

Baraat & Ceremony 8:45 - 11:45

Our Wedding day begins with a vibrant Baraat, a pre-ceremony celebration filled with music and energy, honoring our Indian traditions.
This is followed by a beautiful fusion ceremony, blending a traditional Telugu Hindu Ceremony with an exchange of vows.
After the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy a light lunch and mid-day break - a chance to relax, refresh, and prepare and change into evening wear for the upcoming reception.

8:45 am – Baraat Begins
The celebration bursts into motion as Harish begins his Baraat — a vibrant, musical procession that marks his journey toward the mandap and toward marriage. Around him, guests form a moving circle of joy, dancing alongside him.In a meaningful twist on tradition, Harish is led by both families — guiding him toward Wendy. This moment symbolizes the coming together of two families, two cultures, and two lives.
9:15 am – Baraat concludes; guests gather for the ceremony
As Harish approaches the mandap, the energy shifts from celebration to reverence, preparing for the sacred ceremony ahead.

As the ceremony begins, Harish is lovingly welcomed by Wendy’s family in a series of traditional South Indian rituals. His feet are washed as a gesture of respect and blessing, and prayers are offered to Lord Ganesha to remove obstacles and sanctify the space. A protective thread is tied to his wrist, symbolizing spiritual shielding, and Wendy’s family formally receives him as their future son-in-law with heartfelt gestures and reverence. The ceremony officially begins at 10:15 am, the auspicious time chosen according to Hindu tradition and Harish and Wendy's birth stars. This sacred moment marks the start of their journey together under the mandap.
They are guided through a series of meaningful rituals that honor love, partnership, and family. With blessings from family, playful traditions, and symbolic gestures.11:45 am – Couple’s Personal Vows
Wendy and Harish exchange their own promises. With these final words, the ceremony concludes. Two families are joined, two hearts are bound, and the celebration of Wendy and Harish’s marriage begins.
Midday Festivities & Break
11:45 – 1:30 pm – Lunch
In keeping with the fusion theme, Harish and Wendy have catered one of their favorite fusion date spots. They’ve created a warm, inviting ambiance for guests to relax, mingle, and enjoy good food and company. For those feeling the early start and long morning, grab-and-go options are available
1:30 pm – 5:00 pm – Rest & Reset
After lunch, guests are invited to take a restful pause before the evening festivities. Whether it’s a quick nap, a change of attire, or simply soaking in the joy of the morning, this is your time to recharge and get ready for the celebration ahead.
